Now this set of pics are mixed bunch but I will do my best to tell you about all of them. The first 3 were taken at a sidewalk park across from where we stayed in Bahrain. Garrett took a night time camel ride. He said that it was nothing like riding a horse, as the camel kind of just plops along....lol. Then there is the pic of me and the kids sitting and resting watching some of the local guys play soccer in the sand. The third pic is of a fountain that is set out in the water. It shoots this big geyser into the air every so often the rest of the time it has a soft halo of water around the base. But this was a cool pic of the water spray being carried towards the full moon. The next couple of pics are of the boys climbing a rock wall in one of the malls. Everything is very family orientated out here and all the malls have play areas for the children. The one in yellow is Bryce and the other is Garrett. Next there is a pic of the entrance to the University of Bahrain. It seems to be a very nice university settled back in the midst of a tree shrouded oasis. The last photos are of some of the flowers at the wildlife park. I was really pleased with how the pic of the tree in the rocks came out. Also check out the pink and white flowers. In reality they are just leaves, very nice, but I had never seen anything like them before.
